Help support our work in Uganda!

With your donation, Uganda Village Project (UVP) helps parents protect their children from malaria, offers women a chance to control the size of their families, tests and counsels communities about how to prevent HIV, assists households to make healthy choices in sanitation, provides safe drinking water, and heals women with fistula.

Mirembe Edith is the mother of one family helped by UVP. She is a 45-year-old mother of five who bought a mosquito net from UVP in Namungalwe village. When asked why she bought the net for her children, she said, “I attended two malaria education sessions that UVP held in our village, and my daughters were taught in school about malaria prevention and came home to tell me about it. We had some very old nets that were not working well, so I saved up enough money to buy a net. I will buy more when I can. This area has many mosquitoes and I want to protect my children and myself from malaria. I appreciate that UVP subsidizes the nets. I am very grateful. Thank you.”

You can make a difference to someone like Edith living in a rural village in Uganda. Give to UVP today!
